This beautiful glass is ideal for regularly disinfecting your Me Luna Cup or Saalt Disc.

Disinfection in the microwave:

Please place your Me Luna in the glass with the opening facing up and slowly fill it with approximately 250 ml of water. The Me Luna should be completely submerged in water. Place the included lid on top. Now place the cup in the microwave. The wattage setting for your microwave depends on the model. The water must boil to achieve the necessary disinfection effect. If in doubt, please refer to your microwave's instruction manual. Most customers use the medium setting/wattage for 3-5 minutes.

  • The cup's lid doesn't form a tight seal, allowing steam to escape at any time and preventing excess pressure from building up.
  • Please note when removing the glass: The glass will have become very hot due to the heating of the water. Please use appropriate protective measures (potholders, oven mitts) when removing the glass. If in doubt, let the glass and its contents cool in the microwave.
  • If your microwave has an additional grill or convection function, please make sure it is NOT activated during cooking! The intense heat may cause the glass to crack.

Disinfection with Milton Mini disinfectant tablets:

If you're using the Milton Mini tablets for disinfection, please first prepare the cleaning solution in the glass jar. Fill the jar with 300 ml of cold water and dissolve three Milton Mini tablets in it. Once the tablets are completely dissolved, gently press your Me Luna menstrual cup into the solution with the opening facing up.

Now let your cup soak in the solution for 15 minutes until your Me Luna is disinfected. Then pour the cleaning fluid down the drain. The disinfection process is complete after 15 minutes. Avoid leaving it soaked for longer than that! We recommend using a kitchen timer to ensure you don't forget to remove it. If the Milton solution is left on for too long, it may cause discoloration of your Me Luna.

Soft and comfortable

I have been using pads from this company for about 7 years. As I have some stress incontinence I use them daily and some are beginning to wear out. I have also put on a little weight and decided to stock up on the longer ones as I was getting some leakage with the regular ones. Very happy with them at the moment.
