Boyshorts For Period Pads - Boxer Shorts With HYF Magic Gusset. Period Pants

These are made to order, so will take a couple of days longer than usual.

We are rather proud of these boxer style undies designed with the HYF Magic Gusset inside so that you can easily attach your reusable pads and still wear super comfy shorts style pants.

These are NOT absorbent period pants.

They may well become your every day favourites, especially as we become more aware of the dangers to health and fertility of wearing synthetic undies.

Sizing

The bamboo fabric is slightly thinner and stretchier than the 96% cotton, so if you are on the cusp of sizes, I recommend you go down for the bamboo and up for the cotton. Also, as the bamboo is lighterweight than the cotton, it is better for thinner pads. If you are using Slim Mega and bigger then stick with the cotton shorts which are sturdier. Models are UK sizes 6, 10, 14 (nude) and 20 (black).

Black Bamboo Boy Shorts with Gusset

These are absolutely fantastic and something I’ve been searching for for so long!
For starters, I am a chronic illness haver, and I have PCOS (now PMOS) and endometriosis, as you can imagine I have super specific needs. These are so light and breathable so they do not set off any allodynia or skin irritation, nor mess with my already broken temperature regulation.
Although it is suggested to get a size down especially for the bamboo, I decided to get my usual size (20), and I’m so glad I did. The band does not feel like it’s cutting me in half and they also do not fall down, and yet there is plenty room to accommodate for the massive bloating I get and for my various heat pads! If you prefer a tighter fit I can definitely see why sizing down is recommended.
To be able to choose from my own pad collection (which now also includes a mega pad from here which works perfectly fine with these shorts for me and makes me feel so secure) and stay comfortable and cosy is so important to me. I no longer have to suffer seams cutting in on my legs or uncomfortable bands when bloating. I even love wearing them when I’m not on my period, especially when it’s hot weather. Not to mention the absolutely wonderful customer service, so helpful and kind. I am overjoyed and can’t recommend them enough!

I don’t usually do reviews but . . .

I am really impressed with these. It is clear that a lot of thought has gone into the design and a lot of care in actually making them. They fit just as well with the slim mega as they do the mini pads. Better than that, they are sooooo comfy. I am a size 12 and the 12 fit perfectly. I ordered the hipsters and the boyshorts in the cotton – I have ordered more hipsters just because I prefer the elastic on them but they are both lovely!

Simple but brilliant idea

Menopause is long past but I like to wear washable liners and these pants hold them in place perfectly. However they are very generously sized and did feel a bit like the dreaded school gym knickers of many years ago! I'm a size 10-12 and ordered the 12 in cotton as suggested by yourselves. I've taken a tuck in the waistband an will order a size 10 in cotton next time and hope for a neater fit. Such a good idea.

We are now making the elastic tighter on the Boyshorts, so this should no longer be a problem. The sizing on the cotton Boyshorts is pretty true to size, but the bamboo is much more stretchy, so can come out bigger.

Well thought out design, very easy to wash and dry!

Used this pad for the first time yesterday on my heaviest night. It was my first time using reusable pads ever. I had no leaks website was covered the pad is huge and super absorbent. I thought i hadn't bled that much as i was dry... until I rinsed the pad! What's great about this style is that its really easy to wash and dry. You can remove the extra internal layer and really give it a scrub and turn the whole pad inside out to clean it. This also makes drying easier and you can tumble dry it! So many non HYF pads are linedry only and some take 2 days to dry fully! The HYF one are by far the most well thought out easiest to use and reuse, reusable pads out there!

Treated myself to some new pants, I'm the kind of person who prefers mens boxer style underwear so was very excited when I saw these. They're extremely comfortable, great fabric, and most of all THEY DON'T WEDGIE!! I've discarded so many pants because every couple of minutes one has to pull them out of one's arse crack. More expensive per pair than other pants, but worth it for comfort and doesn't look like they're going to frey like cheap ones do.

Very comfortable to wear and perfect for days 1-3 of period and if you suffer incontinence gushed trying to undo your button going to the loo. I've been using this company's pads for a few years now and haven't looked back, they're much more comfortable and absorbent than disposable pads. The chemicals in disposable pads hurt my skin, as long as you're careful with what products you wash them with, I don't get any skin irritation and they don't all wrinkle up at the sides like regular disposal pads do. I highly recommend Vicky and Honour your Flow! Has definitely been a lifesaver for heavy periods.
