The Me Luna SHORTY Cups are 30% shorter than normal menstrual cups. This product line was designed for women who need shorter cups due to their gynecological conditions.
The Me Luna SHORTY sizes are commonly used:
- by women who have a very low cervix during menstruation
- by women who have a very short vaginal canal
- by women who have a prolapsed uterus
A menstrual cup must be easy to insert and then unfold fully inside the vagina. Only then will it work perfectly and form a proper seal. Pressure from the surrounding muscles must not prevent the menstrual cup from unfolding.
When inserted, and provided your cup fits and is in the correct position, you will not feel a thing. You will only feel a sensation of pressure if the cup is not sitting correctly and is too big for you. The degree of softness is not to blame in this case, but the dimensions of the menstrual cup.
ME LUNA CLASSIC SHORTY
Me Luna Classic is pleasantly soft, but still firm enough to ensure that your menstrual cup can unfold after it is inserted. 97% of our customers find Me Luna Classic to be comfortable and not too hard. The Me Luna Classic is too soft for some women. For women with well-toned pelvic floor muscles, the unfolding of the cup is a bit laborious and can take some time. If you are one of these, then go for the Sport.
The Large cup is suitable if you are larger than 170cm (5'5) light, medium or heavy build and have had one or two vaginal births (Medium may also suit you); also if you are over 170cm (5'5), medium or heavy build with no vaginal births; and suitable if you are over 170cm (5'5), slim or medium build and had more than two vaginal births.
If you regularly do pelvic floor exercises (like Pilates), you will probably need one size smaller. Do contact me if you are unsure - info@honouryourflow.co.uk
