The Mega pad in the ever popular purple sundae colourway in organic cotton velour. Inside the pad you will find two layers of organic cotton fleece sewn in along the central panel and through the wings, as well as a layer of fully waterproof PUL sewn right through the pad. The backing is our  nice organic cotton jersey in black. The pad comes with a removable insert of another two layers of organic cotton fleece, making a total of five layers for the pad. You can buy extra inserts separately to boost if needed. Most of my customers, even those with the heaviest flow imaginable don't need to boost, but it's there as an option for you.

Machine washable up to 60' and fast drying because you only have 3 layers to dry in any one place. It dries the same as a Regular pad. Looks very special too - pretty and oh so soft! Now you can use cloth period pads even for the heaviest flow.

The Mega pad is ideal for extremely heavy flow - post partum bleeding, menopausal flooding, very very heavy periods, etc. It also makes a good incontinence pad for full gushes, but can't cope with full uncontrolled urine flow.

Weak Bladder / Incontinence Rating: 7/8 - low bladder control, heavy urge incontinence, but it won't take a full bladder

This is a repurchase after trying 1 mega pad to begin with and i then purchased nearly all the colours. Excellent coverage no leaks and offers security with easy use. The removable insert means you can take it out and give it a really good scrub after use to ensure that all stains are removed. You can easily turn the pad inside out to clean. Most of the blood came out just with cold water and any stubborn stains were swiftly removed with bunchafarmers stain remover stick which I also purchased from this site. One of the only reusable pads that can withstand a 60 degree wash and going in the tumble dryer makes these pads super easy to use. I use these on my heaviest days because they make me feel super secure. Seller is really lovely, knowledgeable and quick to respond!

Well thought out design, very easy to wash and dry!

Used this pad for the first time yesterday on my heaviest night. It was my first time using reusable pads ever. I had no leaks website was covered the pad is huge and super absorbent. I thought i hadn't bled that much as i was dry... until I rinsed the pad! What's great about this style is that its really easy to wash and dry. You can remove the extra internal layer and really give it a scrub and turn the whole pad inside out to clean it. This also makes drying easier and you can tumble dry it! So many non HYF pads are linedry only and some take 2 days to dry fully! The HYF one are by far the most well thought out easiest to use and reuse, reusable pads out there!
